Please note that insurance coverage can vary by individual plan. While we accept the above insurance payers, it is essential to confirm with your insurance provider whether TruTherapy is in-network for your specific plan. Additionally, we encourage you to verify your financial responsibility (such as copayments, deductibles, and coinsurance) before your appointment to ensure there are no surprises. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, please contact your insurance company directly.
Please note that while we offer CORE mental health services, we do not specialize in treating Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We are able to see clients with ASD who can verbally communicate and participate in at least a 45-minute session. If the client's needs require more intensive services or specialized support, our therapist will inform you and provide a referral to an appropriate ABA provider.
To access our psychiatric services, you must first be an active therapy client with us. Our psychiatric services are offered via telehealth only. If you are interested in seeing our psychiatrist, please attend your initial therapy appointment and discuss your interest in both psychiatric and counseling services with your therapist. Your therapist will then refer you to our Trutherapy psychiatrist for further evaluation and support.
If you are a legal guardian bringing a child for therapeutic services, please be aware that we require court custody agreements signed by a judge for all unusual custody cases. If you are separated or divorced, you must provide a copy of the court documents stating that you have primary custody and the legal right to make decisions regarding counseling. If you are unable to provide this documentation, we will not be able to proceed with services, as we are legally unable to assist without the necessary court-approved documentation.
